Artist Statement
Making art is a way to express myself and a means to share my self with the viewer. I have always sought to find better forms of communication with those around me - whether through words, food, yoga or healing.
What does the visual form offer?
How can we connect with one another in a way that brings meaning to both of us and can transform us individually and collectively?
I want to create pleasing aesthetics, as well as art that provokes thought.
What is the meaning of our lives without beauty and without the challenge to ponder and explore the world around us?
