Artist Statement

I started working with encaustics because I love the blending and flow of the hot wax with all kinds of medium. Heating, scraping and working in photographs, oils, pigment sticks, pastels. The hot molten wax allows me to layer and discover something new in every art piece created. I work out of my studio at home in the Santa Monica Mountains allowing me the inspiration of the nature and beauty around me.
