Artist Statement

I have developed a specific photographic skill after forty years of working as a location scout in the film and TV industry. That is, how to find, shoot, and present film locations that follow a script and fulfill a director’s vision.

Ultimately, producing a single image that embodies a location – the hero shot.

As I focus less on film production and more on photography - pursuit of the hero shot continues – reaching out to the director in all of us.
