Artist Statement

My sculpture is strongly influenced by the the work of Brancusi and Moore, as well as ancient, primitive works of Africa, New Zealand, and the Cycladic Islands of Greece. I always strive toward simplification of form, attempting to find and integrate a universal expression across cultures and time.
