Artist Statement

The world of abstraction where elements of precision are at play engages my artistic curiosity. I find the lack of three-dimensionality on a two-dimensional plane lacking. Combining the study of Fine Art with Industrial Design led me to create my own style of art: Geo-Mechanical Abstract Art. With technology impacting culture, my art bridges the gap between art and its technical narrative. It is a playful/energetic combination of geometric shapes with influences of mechanical drawing.

When I create a work of art an idea or concept will come to me that will influence how I will create it. Sometimes it involves what's happening at a moment in time or an abstract notion. The canvas along with my spirit will guide me in its creation. Each shape builds on the previous geometrics for the whole to come into play. It reflects the human characteristics in all of us.
