Artist Statement

My background in architectural and theatrical design is reflected in my bold and textured painting style. As a young artist, I painted San Francisco skylines with bold and fearless strokes, multiple layers of paint creating dimension and texture. Today, I paint the same way, but have an experienced appreciation of lifes nuances with personal layers and textures to draw upon.

I'm drawn to bold, colorful Abstract compositions, incorporating architectural lines and whimsical elements, creating movement and depth. I want to create a compelling narrative that evokes joy, curiosity, optimism and care free abandon.
