Artist Statement

The central idea of my concentration is Abstract Design, Landscape, and Macro.
I am inspired by the spark of imagination that forms as a result of creating abstract shapes and how those images can evoke different emotions in the observer. All of my impressionist inspired works are original pieces. The images are intended for use in an interior design setting. Individual reactions will be conjectured through the diversity of color and shape. While I market the works as wall art, they are also envisioned, in collaboration with designers, as a table top or rug.
Landscape, macro, and abstract photography are natural passions of mine. They bring viewers to an appreciation of something they may overlook in everyday life. Through the eye of the lens I’m able to bring this life from the outdoors in.
