Artist Statement
I’ve always been a curious observer. Even before I owned my very first camera (A plastic Kodak Instamatic 134), I would take pictures in my mind, then burn them to memory.
I’m drawn to a truth as it unfolds in reality. It is grounded in witnessing ephemeral moments, perhaps overlooked that can then have a universal quality. And, as the work evolves, reflects on vulnerability and humor to connect.
