While The Los Angeles Art Association resides in a unique place amongst the Los Angeles Art Community as well as our non-profit peers, the longevity and sustainability of our mission has informed other non-profit artist organizations. Jack and Wendy Simmons Kayla Garcia getting face painted Chris Rose works the crowd   LAAA and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation presented Equity for all Artists, a very special exhibition on August 23 featuring the work of artists challenged with paralysis and spinal cord injury. This exhibition will acknowledged and celebrated the contributions that these artists make to the cultural and economic life of our community. August 23, 2008   Exploring the Self Through Art Exhibition celebrating 25 years of Fairfax Magnet Center for Visual Arts May 11, 2006 Sponsored by LAAA at Gallery 825 in collaboration with Greenway Arts Alliance, this exhibition displayed the artwork of over 50 young artists who created artwork based on the Hercules Project, Greenway's multi-disciplinary theater production.
